Last night was so much fun. One of the coolest experiences of my life. At the rally the park rangers and secret service stops the music after nada surf who was amazing by the way and the nicest dudes. So it looked like I wasn’t going to be able to play. But after the last speaker I told a few people who were bummed I couldn’t play that I would be playing at this park around the corner at nine and so many people showed up. I played almost every song I knew and was surrounded by so much love. It was a giant prolonged intense orgasm for my mind. Shoulder to shoulder with everyone who was as grateful for music and love and unity as me and celebrating the moment. I still feel high from it. Thank you to everyone who was there and to all you lovers of music and moments of electrifying one-ness. I care for you all and want to make you happy and actually be happy myself at the same time. It not easy and its been killing me - Last night helped me get closer to that than I’ve ever been and seemed to illuminate the path. Special thanks to the invisible children people for leading such a powerful movement for change in the world. Love to all and look forward to playing for you all in the .
Warmest regards
Anthony
Ps
If you have any cool videos of it I’d love to see them. Send them to me or post them. xoxo

all of your concepts and thoughts in general are stirring. please keep them coming. many thanks for being so open minded and free spirited on this site. i need you all so i can remember that every single person is so weird, so individually crazy, and uniquely wonderfully significant in some sort of way. there’s so much comfort for me in knowing that- born into the same mental hospital scenery- woke up this morning to check my email and received a mixed demo of a new c.s song that i did vocals for last night. gives boners in my bags- makes me so happy to feel good about what we re doing. keep it coming

about a year ago today i was finishing the tracks for avalon with my buddy joe of exeter recordings(nj)-its birthday is today—crazy as hell–im gonna get a cake that looks like a fish— i haven’t been able to get down the shore as much as i would like to recently, but we’ve been working hard on writing the new circa survive songs. i feel as a whole and individuals we’ve hit a creative stride thats one of the most exciting and time consuming things to ride. people talk a lot about writers block, but when there are an abundance of ideas flowing all coming out together at the same time it can be just as hard to put in unison- its the distinction between having nothing to say, and having so much that its to overwhelming to speak at times-
not that im complaining, id way rather have to many song ideas than not enough, its just interesting how any blessing can be looked upon as a curse or vice versa. a couple of us started a yoga class this week, and although i would do lessons along with the comcast on demand yoga teacher, doing it with a real yogi there it was so much more challenging, felt great after wards. so much going on–i always like hearing what you have to say, so if there is anything in particular that you think would make a great subject for a song, or an album let us know. my dad always sends me text messages or emails with song ideas in them, sometimes they re really weird. he send things like” how did they sink the titanic!”– uhh i think it hit an iceberg, and who’s they???—but then i typed that into google and a whole bunch of interesting shit comes up about how they built the ship all half assed- great song idea daddy. i can smell spring comen round like a dirty street walker lookin for love. its my favorite time of year - its mating season - everyones hormones are alive and out of hibernation and there is so much to be inspired by - ” go your own way, make your own sound” reads a note i was giving in college from my pops–he just might be onto something i thought..
