i think this was really fucking cool hands down. except for people having phone/personal conversations while you were playing. although the talking in the background gave this rendition are really unique vibe, but i just thought it was disrespectful.

Beautiful Things? I thought that was a Good Old War song? My mistake maybe. Anyway, super stoked. I still spin avalon on an incredibly regular basis. Hopefully it won’t take too long. :) e

Oh and maybe ‘Stolen’ ‘Rips you apart’ and ‘Lullaby’ could make it on there….?

    Dearest Mr. Green,
I would beg you kindly to differ. Too many artists are falling into the spell of following what is known and already being supported. Yes, children are being abducted and placed in the armys. Yes, it is a horrible thing…But everyone is missing the bigger picture, entirely. I am part of Project:DARFUR/Operation Music. We are a nonprofit organization that is spreading the news about the genocide through music events and such affairs.
The bigger picture is..Although these children are being abducted, at least they are being fed and housed. Women and girls are being raped (a form of genocide where the Janjaweed are impregnating these girls in hopes of destroying the race of the small african villages and in turn increasing that of the government). Men are being shot on the spot, and thousands are fleeing to outside countries such as Chad. Its like that movie with Bruce Willis trying to save the american doctor…perfectly like that.
We in turn send nonmilitary aid to help those refugees in camps.

I heard a story of a an all girls school where they lined up every child, poured gasoline on them and lit a match. Had it been oprah’s school im sure it would have been known all across america.
its sad to see that no one is looking at the WAR.

We have learned that their African Government continuously sets a date for the U.N to come in and assist, in this time the janjaweed would go on a mass killing spree. they would air raid villages, then when this date arrives..they would instead say their is no situation, and again put off this date to another time..

Their is a petition out to prevent these air raids, since they are the most affective means of killing..If our army donated one plane to fly across this country every day, you could imagine it would do a whole lot.

I understand many celebrities find more interest in invisible children. But which would you prefer, a child that is being fed/housed and could have enough sympathy to spare a life he comes across in a village or a child that is being raped then have her throat slit because that is what they were taught to do?

The foundations are out there…i believe you should shed light on a bigger issue. Support the Women’s group, to send aid to raped women who are considering non-sterile abortions. Support sending food/shelter to the thousands of refugees.

Let Wentz deal with invisible children.
be the voice of something new (sounds gay, but thats the only way i can put it).

    :)

This was such a great time. A few friends and I drove down from New Jersey to see him on a stage in front of the White House, but we ended up seeing him on a street corner with only two people in between us and Anthony.

PLUS, at one point he covered Good Old War, and I sang the harmonies with him. My friends had boners.
